On November 25, Huaneng Nuclear Power Development Co., Ltd. launched a tender for the coupling design project of high-temperature reactor-coupled hydrogen production technology research at Huaneng Shandong Shidaowan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. It is understood that the project's construction site is located in Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province. The tender scope includes completing the coupling design of a 100 kW-class SOEC unit with the HTR-PM, aiming to minimize the impact of hydrogen production by the SOEC unit on the power generation of the HTR-PM. The main content includes, but is not limited to, layout and interface studies, safety analysis, transient characteristic research, and collaborative operation optimization.
