[Lead-Acid Battery Market Dynamics] Recently, dealers of e-bikes and lead-acid batteries in regions such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Hubei reported an increase in battery return rates for certain major e-bike battery brands. This issue primarily affects batteries supplied as original equipment for complete e-bikes, with a higher incidence observed among high-end batteries, particularly the 22Ah and 24Ah models. According to reports, some regional dealers indicated that the return rate for lead-acid batteries this month exceeded 6%. The main causes of failure were battery grid breakage or issues related to sealant curing agents. Most of the faulty batteries originated from factories in Jiangsu and Anhui. Currently, the relevant lead-acid battery enterprises are conducting battery detection and replacement procedures.
