The two companies plan to collaborate extensively on the commercialization and global deployment of self-driving technologies.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The AI-enabled mobility service company Hello Inc.'s subsidiary, Hello Robotaxi (Zaofu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.), has signed a memorandum of understanding with ComfortDelGro China, part of the Singapore-headquartered transport conglomerate ComfortDelGro, to launch a wide-ranging partnership on autonomous mobility.

The agreement was formalized at the 15th Guangdong–Singapore Collaboration Council meeting on 25 November. The two companies plan to collaborate extensively on the commercialization and global deployment of self-driving technologies, aiming to build a safer, more efficient and sustainable mobility ecosystem.

Under the partnership framework, Hello Robotaxi's L4 autonomous driving system will be integrated into ComfortDelGro's global point-to-point mobility network. The companies plan to co-develop an intelligent dispatch platform that allows conventional taxis and Robotaxis to operate in tandem, using hybrid dispatching to improve fleet utilization and streamline passenger experience. Their cooperation will also extend into areas such as vehicle leasing, battery-swap energy solutions, safety-operator training and grid-based fleet management, forming a tightly interconnected service ecosystem.

Hello's co-founder and CEO Yang Lei said the collaboration brings together ComfortDelGro's global operating footprint with Hello's more than 800 million users and its L4 autonomous driving capabilities. He described hybrid dispatching between conventional taxis and Robotaxis as the starting point for broader global expansion, adding that the companies aim to build an integrated smart-mobility network and deepen cooperation across operations and ecosystem development.

ComfortDelGro Chief Executive Officer Cheng Siak Kian said the agreement strengthens the company's technology ecosystem and underscores the strategic value of collaboration in next-generation mobility. He noted that blending traditional taxi operations with autonomous services marks a significant step in reinforcing the group's competitive position in point-to-point transport. According to Cheng, the emerging hybrid operating model is designed to be scalable globally and will support the company's international expansion.

The partnership brings together complementary strengths. Since announcing its entry into the Robotaxi sector in June 2025, Hello Inc. has been co-developing L4 autonomous driving technology with Ant Group and CATL, leveraging their expertise in AI foundation models, embodied intelligence, smart skateboard chassis and battery systems. Hello Robotaxi has now built a full-stack capability spanning R&D, vehicle manufacturing and platform operations. ComfortDelGro, meanwhile, operates one of the world's largest international taxi networks and has accumulated commercial experience managing autonomous fleets in markets such as Singapore and Guangzhou.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
