Institution: Average Capacity Utilization Rate of Major Global Wafer Fabs in Q3 Approximately 86%

Sigmaintell estimated that the average capacity utilization rate of major global wafer fabs in Q3 2025 was approximately 86%, up about 6 percentage points YoY. The overall recovery in capacity utilization is relatively optimistic, and it is expected to exceed 90% within 2026. Driven by applications such as automotive and industrial control, demand for 8-inch wafers rebounded significantly, and prices have stabilized and rebounded since Q3 2025. For 12-inch wafers, overall prices remained stable, while some applications still experienced minor price reductions to secure orders.
