With this launch, the automaker moves into a new phase of full mainstream-market coverage.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Leapmotor took the wraps off the Leapmotor A10 model at the Auto Guangzhou 2025 on November 21, unveiling the first model built on its new A-platform and completing the company's coverage of the A, B, C and D series.

With this launch, the automaker moves into a new phase of full mainstream-market coverage. Blind pre-orders opened immediately, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the first half of 2026.

The A10 adopts classic SUV proportions but adds emotionally expressive styling cues to distinguish itself within Leapmotor's expanding lineup. Measuring more than 4,200 mm in length with a wheelbase exceeding 2,600 mm, the model features a front fascia shaped around "smiling" LED signatures and a matching rear design that the company describes as its "laughing tail lamps." Other design elements—including a long, downward-sloping hood, 18-inch wheels, six exterior ADAS indicator lights, semi-hidden door handles and a full-width air intake—blend aesthetics and function to give the A10 a sporty yet refined stance.

The vehicle will be offered in six color schemes drawn from the natural palettes of iconic cities and regions.

Positioned aggressively in the entry-level price band, the A10 is billed as the first sub-100,000-yuan vehicle to feature LiDAR. Working with Qualcomm's 8650 processor, the system supports full-scenario assisted driving—from urban NAP functions to highway navigation and memory parking. Inside the cabin, Leapmotor equips the car with Qualcomm's flagship 8295P chip to power its infotainment and intelligent cockpit features.

On the powertrain side, the A10 uses an oil-cooled electric drive unit and offers a CLTC-rated range of over 500 kilometers. Fast-charging performance allows the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in as little as 16 minutes.

The launch comes as Leapmotor posts some of its strongest financial results to date. In the third quarter of 2025, the company remained profitable with net earnings of 150 million yuan, marking consecutive quarters in the black. Revenue reached 19.45 billion yuan, nearly doubling year on year, while gross margin climbed to 14.5%. Cash reserves stood at 33.92 billion yuan, supported by positive operating and free cash flow.

From January to October, Leapmotor delivered more than 500,000 vehicles, surpassing its full-year target ahead of schedule. The company also led China's NEV startups with 44,000 units in overseas shipments, focusing on Germany, France and Italy as its core European markets.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
