US November S&P Global PMI: Manufacturing Hits 4-Month Low, Services & Composite at Highs

[SMM Global PMI Data Flash] The preliminary S&P Global PMI data for the US released in November showed that the manufacturing PMI preliminary reading reached 51.9, marking a four-month low. The services PMI preliminary reading was 55, and the composite PMI preliminary reading was 54.8, both hitting four-month highs. Among these, the preliminary reading for the new orders sub-index of the composite PMI rose to 55, not only reaching the highest level since December 2024 but also remaining in expansion territory for nine consecutive months. However, the employment indicator declined MoM.
