Shanghai (Gasgoo)- At the opening of the Auto Guangzhou 2025, Changan Automobile unveiled an ambitious roadmap for the coming 5 years, committing to launch more than 50 new energy vehicle (NEV) models by 2030. Every new vehicle will be built on the company's newly developed Tiānshū intelligent architecture, a platform intended to underpin Changan's next phase of electrification.

The automaker also set a goal for overseas sales to account for more than 30% of its total volume by the end of 2030, signaling a decisive push to diversify beyond the domestic market.

Fresh sales data underscores the momentum behind Changan's strategy. The group delivered around 278,000 vehicles in October, an 11% increase from a year earlier. NEV models continued to outperform, reaching 119,000 units for the month—a 36% year-on-year jump. Overseas markets also posted solid gains, with October exports climbing 25% year on year to 58,000 units. Together, the figures reflect a company steadily building the foundation for greater international reach.

Changan Automobile's three dedicated NEV brands—AVATR, DEEPAL and NEVO—are contributing to the surge. DEEPAL reported global sales of 36,792 units in October, driven largely by the S05, which alone surpassed 20,000 units. Domestic deliveries reached 14,068 while overseas markets added 6,033. For the first ten months of the year, DEEPAL's cumulative sales were up 57%, marking one of the segment's fastest growth trajectories.

NEVO sold 36,378 vehicles in October, the third consecutive month in which the brand topped the 30,000-unit mark. Its Q07 SUV continued to gather momentum, adding 11,637 units of sales in October and bringing total deliveries since its April debut to nearly 80,000 units.

AVATR, meanwhile, contributed 13,506 units of sales in October as it continued to broaden its product lineup. The AVATR 12 four-LiDAR edition hit the market during the month with a limited-time starting price of 259,900 yuan. On November 3, the brand added two new variants of the AVATR 06—an REEV and a BEV model—priced at 204,900 yuan and 214,900 yuan after incentives.
