【SMM PV News】Jinko Solar Tiger Neo 3.0's mass production launch and global ordering conference

Published: Nov 21, 2025 09:06
On November 20, Jinko Solar officially held the mass production launch and global ordering conference for its Tiger Neo 3.0. As the flagship PV module of Jinko Solar's current technological iteration, Tiger Neo 3.0 sets a new benchmark for high-efficiency PV module performance with four core advantages, including:
1. Higher Comprehensive Power Generation: Featuring a front-side power of 650–670 Wp and a bifaciality rate of 85–90%, every 5% increase in bifaciality delivers over 0.6% additional power generation gain, resulting in higher comprehensive power generation output.
2. Exceptional Low-Light Performance Like "Extended Standby": Excellent low-light performance enables efficient power output during dawn, dusk, and cloudy or rainy conditions (low-light environments).
3. Resilience to Challenging Environments: With an improved temperature coefficient (-0.26%) and enhanced shading resistance, it performs reliably under high temperatures and complex environmental conditions.
4. Enhanced Anti-Degradation Reliability: First-year degradation below 1%, linear degradation below -0.35%, and a 30-year power warranty.

Thanks to its outstanding efficiency and reliability, Tiger Neo 3.0 has secured several major overseas supply agreements with globally renowned enterprises such as Australia’s GoSolar, Pakistan’s distributor MesolSolar and etc.

[SMM PV News] Abu Dhabi Expands Solar Policy to Residential Sector
Abu Dhabi's Department of Energy ('DoE') has expanded its solar self-consumption policy to include villas and eligible residential buildings. Following a February rollout for the agricultural sector, the updated policy now allows homeowners to install rooftop solar with or without battery energy storage systems ('BESS'). The new phase features a simplified regulatory framework to streamline grid connections, supporting the 'UAE' goal of reaching 20 GW of total solar capacity by 2030.

[SMM PV News] US Small-Scale Solar Hits Record 1.9 GW in Q4 2025
The US solar market reached a new milestone in the final quarter of 2025, with distributed capacity surging to a record 1.9 GW. According to the Institute for Local Self-Reliance (ILSR), solar accounted for 78% of the 46 GW of new national power capacity added last year. While utility-scale projects dominated at 63%, the 15% from residential and community solar highlights strong distributed growth. Defined as 'small solar' (under 1 MW), this segment saw a Q4 surge partly driven by homeowners rushing to secure the 25D residential property tax credit before its scheduled phase-down.
