SMM November 20 News:
Highlights: Inx Technology focuses on oxide solid-state electrolyte and lithium metal anode technology, achieved a breakthrough in 2022 with a solid-state battery exceeding 450 Wh/kg, established a pilot production line in 2023, achieved commercialization in areas such as eVTOL in 2024, and raised over 1 billion yuan in funding.

Now, let's take a look at the rapid development history of Inx Technology's solid-state battery business and understand its technical route of oxide solid-state electrolyte and lithium metal anode.
Inx Technology's high-energy-density solid-state battery features unique technical processes, overcoming the challenges of using lithium metal anodes and solid-solid interfaces. A major breakthrough was achieved in 2022 with the successful development of a high-energy, high-safety lithium metal solid-state battery prototype boasting an energy density exceeding 450 Wh/kg and capable of 1,000 cycles.
In early 2023, the company began establishing China's first pilot production line for solid-state batteries with an energy density ≥450 Wh/kg, with an annual capacity of 200 MWh. Leveraging this production line, the company has successfully introduced its products into various end-use applications including eVTOL, robotics, drones, high-end wearables, and consumer devices. In 2024, Inx Technology continued to make breakthroughs in commercialization, not only signing bulk procurement agreements with leading global eVTOL enterprises but also achieving mass delivery of its consumer solid-state battery products. Concurrently, the company reached strategic cooperation agreements with leading NEV manufacturers to develop high-energy-density solid-state battery solutions for next-generation EV platforms. To meet rapidly growing market demand, the construction of the company's GWh-scale mass production line is nearing completion.

Development History
2020-2022: Founding team established the company/industrial capital investment, solid-state battery successfully industrialized, strategic cooperation agreements with target customers.
2023: 200 MWh (Zhuhai) production line construction completed, consistency and yield rate improved, batch deliveries to customers.
2024: East China base 5 GWh capacity construction launched in phases, assisted eVTOL in completing full-scenario flight verification, achieving a doubling of driving range.
2025: East China base Phase I 2 GWh production line completed and delivered to eVTOL, drone, and consumer electronics customers; East China base Phase II 3 GWh production line construction initiated.

Financing Status
Since 2022, the company has intensively completed six rounds of financing with an impressive roster of participating investment institutions, including Gaoling Venture, Fenghe Capital, Haichuang Fund, Yihong Equipment, Oriental Fortune Capital, Silk Road Golden Bridge, Qianhai Mother Fund, EHang, Fortune Capital, Guochen Venture Capital, as well as EHang and Desay Battery.
In September 2023, Inx Technology secured Pre-A+ round financing led by Gaoling Venture, with participation from Qianhai Mother Fund, customer EHang, and existing shareholder Fenghe Capital, totaling nearly 100 million yuan, valuing the company at over 1 billion yuan at that time.
January 2, 2024: The latest round of financing, a Pre-A++ round, received investment from Fortune Capital and Guochen Venture Capital.
