ADMR's New Aluminum Plant in North Kalimantan to Start Initial Operation in Mid-December

[SMM Aluminum Express News] PT Alamtri Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) has officially confirmed that the initial operation of its new aluminum plant will commence in mid-October. Located in North Kalimantan, this facility is set to become one of the largest of its kind in Indonesia and represents a flagship project for the company. According to Alamtri's Director, Wito Krisnahadi, the company will begin initial operations next month, with a subsequent ramp-up phase continuing throughout the next year. The plant is projected to achieve its full initial capacity of 500,000 tons per year by October 2026. Looking further ahead, Alamtri has an ambitious long-term plan to significantly expand the North Kalimantan project, aiming to eventually reach a total production capacity of 1.5 million tons annually.
