Emerita Reports New High-Grade Copper-Gold Intersections at El Cura Deposit

Published: Nov 18, 2025 17:29
Emerita Resources has announced new drill results from the El Cura deposit at its Iberian Belt West project in Spain, confirming further extensions of high-grade copper-gold mineralization.

The best intercepts include 9.6 m grading 2.7% Cu and 1.85 g/t Au in hole EC072 and 6.9 m grading 1.4% Cu, 2.4% Zn and 1.32 g/t Au in hole EC079. Additional holes (EC076, EC078, EC082) also returned polymetallic massive and semi-massive sulphide intervals with varying copper, lead, zinc, gold and silver grades.

The results continue to expand the deposit westward, with EC072 extending a previously defined thick copper-gold zone by 35 metres. Emerita reports that drilling to date has traced mineralization over approximately 650 metres along strike and down plunge.

All assays passed the company’s QA/QC protocols, with sample preparation conducted at ALS Seville and analyses performed at ALS Ireland and ALS Romania, supported by independent check assays at AGQ Sevilla.
