October Passenger Car Sales Dip YoY, NEV Wholesale Surges Except Extended-Range Models

[SMM Domestic Automotive Market Production and Sales Data Update] According to data released by the Passenger Car Association, retail sales in the national passenger car market in October reached 2.242 million units, down 0.8% YoY. For passenger NEVs, wholesale sales in October hit 1.621 million units, up 18.5% YoY. However, wholesale sales of extended-range car models were 121,000 units, and their share of total sales has declined for five consecutive months.
