Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On November 12, IM Motors, the premium NEV brand under SAIC Motor, Zhangjiang High-Tech, and Alibaba Group, officially put its latest large six-seat SUV, the LS9, onto the market, offering two variants priced between 322,800 yuan and 352,800 yuan.

Visually, the IM LS9 embodies IM Motors' latest design philosophy with a commanding, upright stance. The front fascia features what the company describes as the longest integrated light bar in the segment, paired with L-shaped headlights and a unique ultra-wide adaptive beam system. The lower grille spans the width of the bumper, while the sculpted air intakes on both sides emphasize a sporty, modern look.

From the side, the SUV presents a long and squared-off profile with crisp, aerodynamic lines, accentuating its premium SUV proportions. Flush door handles further contribute to the clean, futuristic aesthetic.

The IM LS9 will be offered in several color options. Measuring 5,279 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,806 mm in height, with a 3,160 mm wheelbase, the SUV features balanced, vertical proportions tailored for a grand and stately appearance.

At the rear, the IM LS9 carries a tall, flat tailgate design that reinforces its full-size stance. A full-width light strip spans the width of the vehicle, complemented by a substantial roof spoiler and chrome accents, creating a layered and refined visual effect.

Every IM LS9 model comes standard with a 520-line LiDAR unit paired with NVIDIA's Thor chip, delivering up to 300 meters of effective detection range. IM claims this setup provides L3 perception accuracy, capable of reconstructing real-world environments with exceptional precision.

Inside, the IM LS9 adopts IM Motors' newest interior design language, dominated by a 27.1-inch 5K main display that spans much of the dashboard. A 15.6-inch 3K screen sits in front of the front passenger, creating a fully digital and immersive cabin environment.

The center console houses a wireless charging pad and dual cup holders, with open storage underneath. Buyers can choose between a half-spoke or full-spoke steering wheel design, both featuring tactile rotary dials for key functions.

In the second row, the right-hand seat offers a "zero-gravity" reclining mode, and the front passenger seat can fold forward to expand legroom. The cabin also includes a built-in refrigerator with a temperature range from -6°C to 50°C, while the newly developed 4D mechanical massage seats deliver multiple modes of kneading and pressure-based comfort.

Other key features include IM Motors' Agile Lizard Digital Chassis, an advanced four-wheel steering system with up to 24 degrees of steering angle, and a 150 mm dual-chamber adaptive air suspension for improved comfort and control.

Powering the IM LS9 is the high-performance version of IM's "Hengxing" hybrid range extender, pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor and a 66 kWh battery pack. The SUV delivers an all-electric CLTC-rated range of 402 km and a combined driving range of up to 1,508 km — positioning it as one of the longest-range extended-hybrid SUVs in China's premium segment.
