The MONA M03 is the first model launched under XPENG's MONA series. Priced between 119,800 yuan and 155,800 yuan, the vehicle hit the market in late August 2024 and began deliveries the following month. The model's launch was met with extraordinary demand—XPENG reported over 10,000 units of firm orders within 52 minutes and more than 30,000 units within the first 48 hours.

The MONA M03's delivery pace has been equally impressive. It took just 216 days for production to climb from the first unit to the 100,000th-unit delivery, and only 212 more days to double that figure. As of September 28, 2025, the model had recorded over 10,000 units of monthly deliveries for 12 consecutive months—underscoring its sustained market appeal.

In October 2025 alone, XPENG delivered more than 15,000 units of the MONA M03, setting a new all-time monthly record for the model.

Despite its accessible pricing, the MONA M03 stands out for its robust intelligent hardware suite. Every trim level comes equipped with over 20 perception components, including two millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic sensors, and seven high-definition cameras. Together, they enable Level 2 driver assistance capabilities—an uncommon offering in this price range that strengthens XPENG's position in the smart EV value segment.

In May 2025, XPENG expanded the MONA M03 lineup with four new variants. Among them, the Max edition—priced around 130,000 yuan—debuted with dual NVIDIA Orin-X chips offering a combined computing power of 508 TOPS. It also featured XPENG's self-developed Turing AI system.

The runaway success of the MONA M03 has significantly boosted XPENG's overall sales momentum. In October 2025, the automaker delivered 42,013 vehicles—a 76% year-on-year surge and the second consecutive month above the 40,000-unit mark. From January to October, cumulative deliveries reached 355,209 units, up 190% year-over-year.

XPENG is also accelerating its international expansion, with the MONA M03 now officially shipping to markets across the Middle East and Africa. In October 2025, the company extended its presence to seven new countries, including Lithuania, Latvia, and Qatar. This marks a strategic shift from rapid overseas rollout to establishing localized operations and service networks aimed at sustaining long-term growth.
