Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In October 2025, BYD Company Limited ("BYD") sold 441,706 vehicles in total, representing a year-on-year decline of 12.13%, but posting a month-on-month growth of 11.47%, according to the company's public announcement.

Notably, the sales made in October hit the highest-ever monthly ever so far this year.

Of the vehicles sold last month, passenger vehicles (PVs) contributed sales of 436,856 units, which dropped 12.72% from a year earlier, but grew 11.14% from a month ago.

Breaking down the Oct. PV sales by powertrain solutions, battery electric vehicles (BEVs) accounted for 222,559 vehicles, indicating a 17.37 year-on-year jump and an 8.54% month-on-month rise, while plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) recorded a sales volume of 214,297 units, which fell 31.07% over the previous year, but climbed 13.98% over the previous month.

Besides, the company reported an overseas sales volume of 83,524 PVs and pick-up trucks for the month of October.

As for the October performance of each brand or product lineup, the sales of BYD's Dynasty and Ocean series totaled 395,015 units. FANGCHENGBAO, DENZA, and YANGWANG brands recorded sales of 31,052 units, 10,135 units, and 654 units, respectively.

For the first ten months of this year, BYD saw its cumulative sales rise 13.88% from the year-ago period to 3,701,852 units.

During the Jan.-Oct. period, the company sold a total of 785,103 PVs and pick-ups across its overseas markets.
