[Sinopec and LG Chem Announce Joint Development of Sodium-Ion Battery Materials] Sinopec's news office announced that Sinopec and LG Chem recently signed an agreement on the joint development of key materials for sodium-ion batteries. The two parties will jointly develop key materials such as cathode materials and anode materials for sodium-ion batteries, targeting the energy storage system and low-speed EV markets in China and globally, accelerate the commercialization process, expand the business model for sodium-ion batteries, and extend cooperation to the new energy and high-value-added materials sectors in the future.
