Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 30, 2025, RoboSense and PIX Moving announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the mass deployment of autonomous "mobile space" platforms such as RoboBus and RoboShop. The collaboration is designed to advance the global smart mobility industry and reimagine the landscape of future urban living.

PIX's latest-generation RoboBus, equipped with RoboSense's high-performance LiDAR sensors, has already entered mass production at PIX's digital manufacturing facility in Huzhou, Zhejiang. The model is now operating in multiple Chinese cities, including Yiwu, Guiyang, and Shenzhen, with plans to expand its deployment to additional international markets in the near future.

Founded in 2017, PIX Moving specializes in autonomous robotic vehicles such as the RoboBus, RoboShop, Beastie, and RoboSweep. Its products have reached 30 countries and regions worldwide. Over the next five years, the company aims to deploy RoboBus fleets in 100 cities and 1,000 application scenarios globally, targeting over one billion annual service rides as it helps modernize urban transport and boost local economies.

RoboSense, a global leader in LiDAR technology, has developed the industry's most comprehensive digital product lineup based on its full-stack chip architecture. The company's automotive-grade reliability and scalable production capacity have made it a preferred supplier for L2 to L4 autonomous driving systems. In the L4 segment specifically, RoboSense said it has partnerships with more than 90% of leading global players.

The partnership between RoboSense and PIX Moving is already yielding results. At the Global Digital Trade Center in Yiwu, the new-generation PIX RoboBus—equipped with five RoboSense LiDAR units—has been deployed in volume, providing stable and efficient shuttle services within the campus. With 360-degree perception coverage, the vehicle can accurately detect pedestrians, traffic signals, and obstacles, performing autonomous path planning and obstacle avoidance. Similar deployments have been completed in Guiyang's Huaxi University Town and Guanshanhu District.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
