Brazil Speeds Up Rare Earth Plant Construction; Aldoro Starts Namibia Exploration

Published: Oct 29, 2025 21:54
Brazilian states are currently advancing the construction of rare earth processing plants at full speed. In São Paulo, the state government, with the support of the Institute of Technological Research (IPT), has begun installing the first equipment for the state's first rare earth and critical mineral processing plant. Once completed, the plant will be capable of simulating, testing, and validating separation and purification technologies, thereby effectively reducing dependence on external suppliers. Meanwhile, in Namibia, Aldoro Resources has commenced exploration activities in its Omuronga project area. Through its first drilling program, the company aims to search for heavy rare earth elements. Preliminary investigations have already revealed promising geochemical anomalies, indicating the potential presence of a buried carbonate rock system in the area.
