Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 28, the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance ("HIMA") announced that its total vehicle deliveries had surpassed the one-million mark. The milestone comes just two months after the alliance crossed 900,000 units on August 25, highlighting its rapid sales momentum in China's smart NEV market.
Commenting on the achievement, Richard Yu Chengdong—Huawei's Executive Director, Chairman of the Investment Review Board, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Consumer BG—shared on social media that HIMA reached the one-million-unit milestone in just 43 months.
"From zero to a million, our growth has exceeded all expectations," Yu said. "Starting with AITO and now expanding to five distinct sub-brands, Harmony Intelligent Mobility has continued to evolve thanks to our partners, our hardworking teams, and the trust of a million users. We will continue to deliver better products and driving experiences, and I believe our next million will come even faster."
HIMA has now built a complete product ecosystem under its multi-brand strategy, covering five sub-brands: AITO, LUXEED, STELATO, MAEXTRO, and SAIC Shangjie. Each represents a different segment of the alliance's expanding intelligent mobility lineup.
Among them, the SAIC Shangjie H5—the first mass-produced model developed through deep collaboration between Huawei and SAIC Motor—opened for reservations on August 25 and officially hit the market on September 23, with prices starting at 159,800 yuan.
The Shangjie H5 comes equipped with Huawei's advanced Qiankun ADS 4 driver assistance system as standard, featuring a 192-line LiDAR with a 250-meter detection range and three 4D millimeter-wave radars—delivering flagship-level assisted driving capability. Powertrain options include both REEV and BEV versions. The REEV variant uses a 1.5-liter generator, offering 230 km of pure electric range and more than 1,300 km combined under the CLTC cycle. The BEV version, available with 64.6-kWh or 80-kWh battery packs, delivers CLTC-rated ranges of 535 km and 655 km, respectively.
Huawei's other high-end collaboration—the MAEXTRO S800 developed with JAC Group—went on sale on May 30. The model lineup includes four trims: Starlight Premium, Xingyao Premium, Starlight Executive, and Xingyao Executive. Both the Starlight Premium and Executive editions are available in BEV and REEV versions. The model's prices range from 708,000 yuan to 1,018,000 yuan.
In terms of design, the MAEXTRO S800 embodies a philosophy of harmony between heaven, earth, and humanity. It features dual-megapixel "Galaxy" crystal headlights—the industry's first automotive-grade crystal lamp—and "Nebula Scroll" taillights that use multi-layer projection to create dynamic lighting effects. The sleek, aerodynamic body paired with large panoramic side windows achieves an impressively low drag coefficient of just 0.206Cd.
Under the hood, the S800 debuts Huawei's 800V "Xue Xiao"(translating to snowy owl) intelligent range-extension platform, which supports a 6C ultra-fast charging system capable of delivering up to 80 kW of power. Charging from 10% to 80% takes as little as 10.5 minutes. The dual-motor REEV version offers a CLTC combined range of 1,333 km and 400 km of battery-powered driving, while the tri-motor setup delivers 1,200 km combined and 365 km range on battery power alone.
A separate 800V 5C all-electric platform with a 97 kWh high-density battery enables up to 702 km CLTC range and supports ultra-fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes.
