In September of this year, Chongqing Lithium Germany signed an agreement for a 5,000 mt per year solid-state battery composite lithium metal anode material project with an investment of 5.5 billion yuan, which will be located in Shehong, Sichuan. The project will establish a 400-mu lithium metal full-industry chain base, with products capable of meeting the application needs of industries such as solid-state batteries. This project adopts lithium metal distillation technology to achieve a customized ratio of 99.99% battery-grade lithium metal. In July of this year, TianTie Technology issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary, Anhui TianTie, signed a cooperation agreement with a domestic customer to supply 100 mt of copper-lithium composite strips, with an order value of 400 million yuan. Copper-lithium composite strip is a type of strip material formed by combining the anode current collector (copper foil) and anode active material (lithium metal foil) through specific processes, serving as a common solution for lithium metal anodes. This material is primarily used in the field of lithium metal solid-state batteries.
