Since the beginning of this year, enterprises in the industry have increased their efforts in the layout of lithium metal anodes. In September of this year, Chongqing Lithium Germany signed an agreement for a 5,000 mt per year solid-state battery composite lithium metal anode material project with an investment of 5.5 billion yuan, which will be located in Shehong, Sichuan. The project will establish a 400-mu lithium metal full-industry chain base, with products capable of meeting the application needs of industries such as solid-state batteries. This project adopts lithium metal distillation technology to achieve a customized ratio of 99.99% battery-grade lithium metal. In July of this year, TianTie Technology issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary, Anhui TianTie, signed a cooperation agreement with a domestic customer to supply 100 mt of copper-lithium composite strips, with an order value of 400 million yuan. Copper-lithium composite strip is a type of strip material formed by combining the anode current collector (copper foil) and anode active material (lithium metal foil) through specific processes, serving as a common solution for lithium metal anodes. This material is primarily used in the field of lithium metal solid-state batteries.
