CATL, the world's leading lithium-ion battery manufacturer, reported a recovery in its Q3 2025 performance with revenue reaching RMB104.2 billion (US$14.6 billion), a 12.9% year-on-year increase, and net profit surging 41.2% to RMB18.5 billion. This rebound follows a slight revenue dip in the first half of the year, which the company attributed partly to capacity constraints affecting market share. During the quarter, CATL shipped nearly 180GWh of batteries, with energy storage systems representing about 20% (approximately 36GWh) and showing faster growth than power batteries. The company's sales were split between overseas markets (20%) and domestic demand (80%), reflecting its dual focus on global expansion and strong home market presence since its recent Hong Kong listing in May 2025.
