Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Seyond, a global provider of image-grade LiDAR solutions, has entered a deep partnership with PhiGent Robotics, a leading developer of combined advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), according to a press release Seyond issued on October 24 via its WeChat account.

Under the collaboration, PhiGent Robotics' newly launched end-to-end ADAS solution, PhiGo Max, integrates Seyond's ultra-long-range Falcon LiDAR, combining advanced sensing hardware with leading perception algorithms. The partnership aims to accelerate the mass deployment of intelligent driving technologies and set new benchmarks for smart mobility.

PhiGent Robotics has built a strong reputation in the intelligent driving sector with its stable and scalable ADAS product portfolio. Its integrated driving solutions have already achieved over one-million-set production designations across a range of bestselling models from major domestic and international automakers. The company's systems have been instrumental in enabling the large-scale rollout of both highway and urban Navigate-on-Autopilot (NOA) features, helping automotive partners gain a competitive edge in the race toward intelligent mobility.

Seyond, a long-time innovator in LiDAR technology, has developed a robust ecosystem spanning multiple products, clients, and applications. Its LiDAR solutions serve not only vehicle-based intelligent driving systems but also a wide array of sectors such as smart transportation, unmanned delivery, intelligent highways, rail transit, and industrial automation. The company's Falcon series LiDAR—selected by PhiGent for this collaboration—has become one of the most trusted products in the market, with cumulative deliveries exceeding 600,000 units.

The PhiGo Max system integrates multiple sensing technologies—including vision sensors, LiDAR (such as the Falcon), and millimeter-wave radar—to achieve complementary, multi-sensor fusion perception. The platform supports full-domain assisted driving and delivers a human-like driving experience from start to finish, with performance approaching the L3 automation standard. The system has already secured a mass production contract with a leading new energy vehicle manufacturer and will debut on the company's upcoming flagship model, marking another major step toward bringing full-scope intelligent driving to everyday consumers.

Looking ahead, Seyond plans to deepen its collaboration with PhiGent Robotics and other leading partners to co-develop next-generation LiDAR systems and ADAS solutions. By addressing increasingly complex driving scenarios and pursuing a superior user experience, the company aims to deliver more competitive perception technologies that empower the entire automotive value chain and advance the vision of safe, efficient, and intelligent mobility.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
