Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 23, autonomous delivery vehicle company Neolix announced the completion of its Series D funding round, raising more than US$600 million. The deal marks the largest private financing in China's autonomous driving sector to date and stands among the biggest private investments in the country this year.

The round was led by UAE-based Stone Venture, with joint participation from Gaorong Capital, Trustar Capital, CDH VGC, Sparkedge Capital, the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, and a major Chinese internet company. Existing investors, including Legend Capital and Yunqi Partners, also increased their stakes.

Neolix founder and CEO Mr. Enyuan Yu said the new funding will strengthen the company's technological foundation and market position in autonomous urban logistics, accelerating the scaled commercialization of its driverless delivery fleet to meet surging demand both in China and abroad.

Neolix has achieved a series of milestones in recent months. The company has delivered over 10,000 L4 autonomous vehicles in total, with monthly deliveries exceeding 2,000 units. Its vehicles now operate in more than 300 Chinese cities, including a fleet of over 1,200 units in Qingdao — reportedly the densest autonomous vehicle deployment in the world. The company's X3 and X6 models have each surpassed 4,000 units of deliveries, with its driverless fleet logging more than 50 million kilometers of autonomous driving operation.

Since obtaining China's first license for unmanned delivery vehicles in 2021, Neolix has maintained rapid growth, with annual deliveries expanding more than tenfold for two consecutive years. The company now serves over 300,000 clients, ranging from major corporate accounts to small and medium-sized businesses.

Neolix has built a dominant position in China's express delivery market, supplying fleets to leading logistics companies such as SF Express, JD Logistics, STO, ZTO, YTO, Yunda Express, and J&T Express, securing nearly 70% of major enterprise contracts in the segment. Beyond express delivery, demand for Neolix's autonomous solutions in on-demand logistics and urban freight distribution has surged, now accounting for more than half of total orders. Internationally, the company recently obtained the Middle East's first RoboVan operating license in the UAE and is advancing pilot projects with government partners in Japan and South Korea.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
