RoboSense launches AC2 Active Camera at IROS 2025
At the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025), RoboSense unveiled its latest AC2 Active Camera, a new-generation robotic vision module that integrates array dToF, stereo vision, and IMU sensors to deliver fused or independent depth, image, and motion data.
The AC2 adopts a fully solid-state array dToF depth-sensing system, achieving ±5 mm accuracy within 8 meters and addressing accuracy degradation with distance in traditional 3D sensors. Its stereo vision system enhances depth precision at under 1 meter, while a 1600×1400 RGB camera adds detailed color information.
The module offers a 120°×90° field of view, among the largest in its class, and features a compact 100×30×45 mm design for flexible installation in humanoid robots, robotic dogs, and robotic arms.
To support developers, RoboSense also upgraded its AI-Ready ecosystem, introducing pose estimation and human skeleton recognition algorithms, the AC Studio toolkit, Wiki documentation, and multi-scene datasets.
The AC2 has completed initial validation and is currently open for beta testing among academic and industrial developers.
FORVIA HELLA's first smart dimming glass controller enters Chinese market
On October 22, 2025, FORVIA HELLA announced that its first intelligent dimming glass controller has officially entered the Chinese market. The product began mass production in August 2025 and has already been adopted by multiple major Chinese automakers.
The system provides one-touch, stepless light-transmittance adjustment, allowing seamless switching between visibility, optimal lighting, UV protection, and privacy modes based on user preferences or ambient conditions.
It effectively blocks ultraviolet and infrared rays, helping lower cabin temperature, reduce air-conditioning load, and extend electric vehicle range.
The controller supports multi-zone independent control, features real-time monitoring and automatic protection mechanisms, and is designed for compact, easy installation.
It also enables integration with in-cabin human-machine interaction and entertainment systems, enhancing comfort and functionality.
