Xense Robotics announced the completion of a Pre-Series A funding round worth 100 million yuan.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 16, Chinese robotic sensing technology startup Xense Robotics announced the completion of a Pre-Series A funding round worth 100 million yuan. The round was led by Fortera Capital, with participation from Li Auto, Before Capital, and Keshi Capital (in Chinese pinyin), alongside continued support from existing investors including GL Ventures, ORIZA SEED, and Gobi China.

This marks Xense Robotics' third funding round within a year. The new capital will accelerate the company's efforts in technology R&D, product iteration, team expansion, and market development, further strengthening its leadership in embodied intelligence, particularly in tactile manipulation and perception.

Founded in May 2024 and headquartered in Shanghai, Xense Robotics is a high-tech company specializing in multimodal tactile sensing technologies and dexterous intelligent manipulation. It aims to enable intelligent agents to perceive and understand the physical world through innovative tactile sensing.

The company has developed a full suite of tactile technologies—including tactile sensors, data acquisition systems, simulators, actuators, and control systems—that can be organically integrated into a "sensor + actuator + controller" system. These solutions are designed for applications across embodied intelligence, industrial manufacturing, medical rehabilitation, and human–machine interaction.

Xense Robotics' first embodied intelligent tactile gripper series integrates proprietary high-precision vision-tactile sensors and flexible drive-control modules, along with an embedded edge computing unit capable of local data collection, processing, and transmission. The product is set to officially launch later this month.

The company has already established partnerships with major industry players such as AgiBot, X Square Robot, Galbot, EngineAI Robotics, Li Auto, CATL, Haier, and Google DeepMind. Its technologies are being tested and applied in fields including dexterous embodied operation, industrial precision assembly, tactile inspection, flexible logistics, and home robotics.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
