General Administration of Customs: China's Imports of Copper Ores and Concentrates in September Up 6.43% YoY, Breakdown Data Overview

According to data released by the Customs Statistics Online Query Platform, China's imports of copper ores and concentrates in September 2025 totaled 2.59 million mt, down 6.24% MoM but up 6.43% YoY.

Chile was the largest origin, with imports of copper ores and concentrates from Chile reaching 649,354.73 mt during the month, down 32.26% MoM and 15.46% YoY.

Peru was the second-largest origin, with imports from Peru amounting to 590,254.26 mt, up 4.64% MoM and 22.91% YoY.
