[SMM Silver Market Update] The American government has been shut down for four consecutive weeks, leading to delays in the release of a series of key data, including the September CPI. The release date for the September CPI report has now been rescheduled to October 24. Given that employment data is also delayed, and the US Fed's previous statement still described the inflation situation as "somewhat elevated," Fed Chairman Powell's remarks may carry more weight than usual. Before the relevant data and reports are officially released, the market lacks a clear basis for judging the inflation situation, which undoubtedly increases the risks for both bulls and bears in the precious metals market.
