Published: Oct 11, 2025 09:23
PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM) has successfully completed its comprehensive exploration campaign for gold, nickel, and bauxite as of September 2025. The mining company invested IDR 176.95 billion in these strategic activities aimed at expanding its mineral resource base and securing future production capacity.

A major focus of this investment was bauxite exploration in West Kalimantan, where operations were conducted across three key regions:

• Tayan Site: Implementation of test pit excavation, precision surveying, benchmark installation, and test well development.
• Landak Site: Execution of comprehensive land identification, detailed geological mapping, test well excavation, and systematic grid surveying.
• Mempawah-Toho Site: Conduct of thorough land assessment, geological mapping, test well sampling, polygonal grid surveying, and test well construction.

The valuable data collected from this completed campaign is now being analyzed to guide ANTAM's future resource development and strategic mining decisions. This substantial investment strengthens the company's position in Indonesia's critical mineral sectors and supports its long-term growth objectives in the mining industry.
