Geely Automobile's monthly vehicle, NEV sales both hit new high in Sept. 2025

It is noteworthy that the company achieved its best-ever performances in both monthly vehicles sales and NEV sales in the month.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In September 2025, Geely Automobile Holdings Limited ("Geely Automobile") recorded a sales volume of 273,125 vehicles, representing a year-on-year jump of 35%, according to the automaker's announcement.

Of the vehicles sold last month, 165,201 units were contributed by new energy vehicles (NEVs), displaying an 81% spike over a year earlier and a 12% growth over a month ago.

Breaking down the Sept. NEV sales by powertrain solutions, sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) amounted to 99,516 units and 65,685 units, soaring 55% and 146% over a year earlier.

It is noteworthy that the company achieved its best-ever performances in both monthly vehicles sales and NEV sales in the month.

Besides, Geely Automobile posted an export volume of 40,665 vehicles for the month of September, showing a slight year-on-year growth of 1%.

As for the September performance by specific brand or product range, Geely brand's flagship "Star" series logged vehicle sales of 101,098 units (+7% MoM). Galaxy brand saw its sales zoom up 131% year over year to 120,868 units. In addition, there were 18,257 vehicles sold under the Zeekr brand, while Lynk & Co logged a sales volume of 32,902 units.

For the first nine months of 2025, the automaker sold a total of 2,170,189 vehicles, representing a year-on-year leap of 46%. Of those, NEVs contributed 1,167,823 units (+114% YoY), including 793,724 BEVs (+141% YoY) and 374,099 PHEVs (+73% YoY).
