XPENG set a new delivery record in September 2025, handing over 41,581 vehicles — up 95% year-on-year.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- XPENG set a new delivery record in September 2025, handing over 41,581 vehicles — up 95% year-on-year — as the automaker's diversified product strategy and international expansion continue to pay off. Year-to-date deliveries have reached 313,196 units, a 218% surge from the same period last year.

The strong results capped a milestone-filled month for XPENG. Its all-new P7 sedan reached 10,000 cumulative units and became the fastest model in the company's history to achieve a 40-vehicles-per-hour production rate on its new assembly line. The MONA M03 compact EV continued to dominate its segment, surpassing 10,000 units of monthly deliveries for the 13th consecutive month and totaling more than 180,000 units to date.

Overseas, the 2025 versions of the XPENG G6 and G9 officially went on sale in Switzerland and Austria to favorable feedback from European drivers.

China's domestic demand for the G6 also remained strong, with deliveries up 74% year-on-year in the first three quarters.

XPENG's intelligent family SUV, the G7, has now exceeded 15,000 units in cumulative deliveries. The company recently began rolling out the first OTA update for the G7 Ultra, enhancing features such as its navigation-guided driving, highway co-pilot, and AR-HUD systems.

Meanwhile, the P7+ model has surpassed 77,000 units in cumulative deliveries.

In a significant strategic move, XPENG announced plans to localize vehicle production in Europe through a partnership with Magna's plant in Graz, Austria. The company's first localized project has officially begun in the third quarter of 2025, with the Magna Graz facility rolling off the XPENG G6 and G9 as its initial models. More vehicles from the brand are expected to follow.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
