【SMM Steel】According to Mexico’s Official Gazette, the Ministry of Economy has initiated a review of the anti-dumping (AD) duties on cold-rolled stainless steel products from China and Taiwan. In October 2020, the Ministry of Economy published the final resolution of the AD investigation and imposed definitive duties ranging from US$0.05 to 0.63 per kilogram, depending on the country and the company. Under the 2020 resolution, these definitive duties will be removed within five years of entry into force, unless the Ministry of Economy initiates a validity review before the end of that period, triggered by the expression of interest from one or more domestic producers.
