Copper cathode rod enterprise consumption in September still showed a mediocre performance, mainly because the surge in copper prices limited major demand from downstream sectors such as cables and enamelled wire. Additionally, with the operating rates of secondary copper rod enterprises gradually rebounding, the substitution effect between refined and scrap copper rods has weakened.
