[SMM US GDP Data Flash] The final US Q2 GDP reading showed an annualized QoQ growth rate of 3.8%, a significant increase from the previous revised figure of 3.3%, marking the fastest growth rate in nearly two years. This upward revision was mainly attributed to unexpectedly strong consumer spending and a decline in imports. Meanwhile, the final core PCE price index was also revised up from 2.5% to 2.6%.
