[SMM International Trade Data Update] According to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, repeated adjustments to US tariff policies have reignited global economic and trade frictions. In July, the global economic and trade friction index climbed to a high of 110. In terms of value involved, the amount covered by global economic and trade friction measures increased 6.6% YoY, and surged 27.6% MoM. Notably, the US ranked first in the value involved in global economic and trade friction measures, maintaining this position for 13 consecutive months.
