Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 26, Changan Mazda officially rolled out the MAZDA EZ-60, its first global strategic new energy SUV. The model is available in six trims across battery-electric vehicle (BEV) and range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) versions, priced from 119,900 yuan–160,900 yuan.
The EZ-60 debuts the world's first 4nm automotive-grade chip, delivering 1.6 times the computing power of the mainstream SA8155 chip. It enables 39ms voice response and improves complex dialogue accuracy by 55%, said the automaker. A 100-inch glasses-free 3D HUD projects navigation arrows directly onto the road and can transform into a 3D cinema experience.
The BEV version is equipped with a 78-kWh battery offering 600 km CLTC range, while the REEV version features a 31.7-kWh battery for 200 km all-electric range and over 1,100 km combined range, powered by a 1.5L high-compression engine (16:1). Fast charging at 3C rates allows 30%–80% SOC in 15 minutes or a 100-km top-up in 5 minutes. Low-temperature pulse heating enables rapid preheating, boosting cold-weather charging efficiency by 15%.
For driver assistance, the EZ-60 adopts an L2 integrated system with an 8-megapixel camera, surround cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Functions include highway/city navigation assist, adaptive cruise, lane centering, and over 19 active safety features, with AEB effective up to 80 km/h.
The interior features a 26.45-inch panoramic display (32:9 ratio), supporting immersive video and gaming, with dimensions of 4,850 × 1,935 × 1,620 mm and a 2,902 mm wheelbase.
