Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 26, VOYAH, the premium new energy vehicle brand under Dongfeng Motor, held the global debut of its flagship SUV, the VOYAH Taishan, and officially opened pre-orders. Customers placing a 2,000-yuan deposit will receive a 5,000-yuan discount at delivery along with two lifetime free service benefits.

With the launch of the Taishan, VOYAH completes its "three-flagship" lineup alongside the DREAM MPV and Passion L sedan.

Named after China's Mount Tai, the SUV reflects VOYAH's design ethos of fusing natural landscapes with architectural inspiration to redefine "Chinese luxury" in the full-size SUV segment.

The Taishan is built on VOYAH's Lanhai intelligent hybrid system. The setup integrates an 800V high-voltage platform, 5C ultra-fast charging, and a standard 65-kWh battery pack. It delivers up to 370 km CLTC pure-electric range and over 1,400 km combined range.

For intelligence, the Taishan comes with Huawei's top-level ADS4 smart driving solution, featuring four LiDAR sensors and Level 3 automated driving capability to handle complex scenarios.

Ride comfort is enhanced by a triple-chamber air suspension with EDC "magic carpet" function for millisecond-level road adaptation. A 16° rear-wheel steering system gives the large SUV an ultra-tight 5.4 m turning radius, balancing commanding presence with agile handling.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
