Beijing (Gasgoo)-On September 25, Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer XPENG announced that the 10,000th unit of its all-new P7 battery electric sedan rolled off the production line, with deliveries of vehicles equipped with the passenger-side zero-gravity seat now underway.

The all-new P7, released to the market on August 27, comes in four variants: the 702 Ultra long-range version priced at 219,800 yuan, the 820 Ultra super-long-range at 239,800 yuan, the 750 Ultra all-wheel-drive performance version at 259,800 yuan, and the top-end 750 Ultra Wing Edition with scissor doors at 301,800 yuan.

The new P7 adopts a minimalist curved-surface design that integrates headlights, grilles, and sensors seamlessly into the body contours, blending aesthetics with functionality. Its proportions—a 1.40 width-to-height ratio, 3.57 length-to-height ratio, and 0.52 wheel-to-height ratio—deliver a wider, lower, and sleeker stance. Combined with a mid-mounted electric drive layout, the sedan achieves a balance of speed and stability.

Inside, the model is equipped with integrated sport seats upholstered in Nappa leather and Dinamica microfiber, offering ventilation, heating, massage, 16-way adjustment, and headrest audio. With a seating position as low as 395 mm, the cabin emphasizes its coupe-like driving character.

All new P7 models come standard with three in-house developed Turing AI chips, providing 2,250 TOPS of computing power to efficiently run XPENG's on-board VLA large model, enabling advanced AI-driven assisted driving capabilities.

The model is also fitted with dual-chamber air suspension and DCC adaptive damping as standard, allowing millisecond-level adjustments to stiffness and ride height for both comfort and handling. It comes with staggered tires, forged aluminum alloy rims and Brembo four-piston calipers, shortening braking distance to just 33.16 meters from 100 km/h to zero.

For power, the new P7 is equipped with a 5C supercharging AI-enabled battery that significantly improves charging efficiency: it can add 525 km of range in 10 minutes, while charging from 10% to 80% of its battery capacity takes just 11.3 minutes. Driving range is rated at 702 km for the long-range version, 820 km for the super-long-range version, and 750 km for the performance edition.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
