[Anson Resources Signs Battery-Grade Lithium Carbonate Offtake Agreement with LG Energy Solution]
On September 24, Australian company Anson Resources announced that it had finalized negotiations for a definitive offtake agreement with South Korea's LG Energy Solution for the supply of battery-grade lithium carbonate from its 100%-owned project in the Paradox Basin in southern Utah. Under the agreement, Anson Resources will supply LG Energy Solution with up to 4,000 dry metric tons (DMT) of battery-grade lithium carbonate annually starting in 2028, accounting for approximately 40% of the project’s initial annual production capacity of around 10,000 mt.
