WeRide included in Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index

On Sept. 22, autonomous driving company WeRide announced that it has been included in the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index (HXC), a benchmark for U.S.-listed Chinese companies.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 22, autonomous driving company WeRide announced that it has been included in the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index (HXC), a benchmark for U.S.-listed Chinese companies.

The addition is expected to attract greater investor attention and institutional support. Passive funds tracking the index will automatically allocate to WeRide shares, providing long-term capital backing. Inclusion also enhances WeRide's brand image among global investors, potential clients, and partners, strengthening its position as it expands internationally.

The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index is a float-adjusted, market-capitalization-weighted index composed exclusively of Chinese companies listed in the United States. It is rebalanced quarterly and currently comprises 83 constituents, including Alibaba, JD.com, and NetEase.

WeRide, which listed on Nasdaq on Oct. 25, 2024, is recognized as the world's first publicly traded Robotaxi company. The firm has carried out autonomous driving R&D, testing, and commercial operations in more than 30 cities across 11 countries, logging over 2,200 days of operation.
