Gravity Survey at Mallina Identifies 12 New High-Priority Targets for Pegmatite Exploration

Published: Sep 22, 2025 07:00
Morella Limited recently announced that the Mallina Lithium Project, jointly developed with Elevra Lithium in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, has completed a gravity survey and identified 12 new high-priority exploration targets on tenement E47/2983. These gravity low anomalies, measuring up to 100 metres wide and 450 metres long, are located within an already proven spodumene-bearing pegmatite field and are considered to hold strong mineralisation potential. The survey was conducted by Atlas Geophysics, which collected 3,810 gravity stations, and the data was interpreted by NewGenGeo. The project also received co-funding from the Western Australian Government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme. Morella Managing Director James Brown stated that the results underscore the strategic value of the Mallina Project and strengthen the company’s Australian lithium exploration portfolio. The next stage of work will include surface mapping and sampling, followed by targeted drilling to further test the newly identified anomalies for lithium mineralisation potential.
