General Administration of Customs: China's Copper Cathode Imports Fell 8.17% MoM in August, Breakdown Data Overview

Data from the Customs Statistics Online Query Platform showed that China's copper cathode imports totaled 307,228.23 mt in August 2025, down 8.17% MoM and up 11.14% YoY.

The DRC was the top origin, with 126,307.12 mt of copper cathode imported from the country during the month, down 11.55% MoM and up 26.49% YoY.

Russia was the second-largest origin, with 25,218.78 mt of copper cathode imported from the country during the month, down 17.56% MoM and up 173.10% YoY.

Below is a detailed breakdown of China's copper cathode imports in August 2025 based on data from the General Administration of Customs:
