According to the website of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Natural Resources, on the morning of September 9, the provincial department visited Jurong City to inspect the site of the gold ore prospecting project in the Lunshan area.
The gold ore prospecting in the Lunshan area is a 2024 geological exploration fund project of Jiangsu Province, implemented by the Third Geological Brigade of the Provincial Geological Bureau. So far, four out of the six completed drill holes have intersected industrial-grade or low-grade gold ore bodies, with ore intersection thicknesses ranging from 3 to 5 meters and the highest grade reaching 7 grams per mt. Through this round of prospecting, the area is expected to add over 5 mt of gold metal resources and submit a medium-sized or larger ore deposit.
