As a facelift of the second-generation Haval Big Dog, the new model is marketed as a family-oriented all-terrain mid-size SUV.

Hardware includes 12 ultrasonic radars and four surround-view cameras to ensure accuracy. The SUV also supports advanced features such as fusion parking assist, remote parking, reversing memory, in-car ETC, and a 360-degree dashcam.

Powertrain options include both hybrid and gasoline variants. The gasoline version offers a 1.5T engine delivering 135 kW paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, and a 2.0T engine delivering 175 kW paired with a 9-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

The PHEV version features GWM's Hi4 intelligent four-wheel-drive hybrid system, combining a 1.5T PHEV-dedicated engine with dual motors on the front and rear axles. It produces a maximum output of 268 kW and peak torque of 750 Nm, mated to a 2-speed DHT hybrid transmission. The model features a battery-powered CLTC range of 105 km or 150 km, depending on trims.
