The two companies will work together to develop advanced HUD systems for automakers worldwide.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 18, 2025, Visteon, a global leader in automotive cockpit electronics and intelligent connected vehicle solutions, and FUTURUS, a leading Chinese enterprise in head-up display (HUD) and augmented reality (AR) technologies, officially announced the establishment of a global strategic partnership. The two companies will work together to develop advanced HUD systems for automakers worldwide.

The collaboration will focus on next-generation augmented reality head-up displays (AR-HUDs), windshield head-up displays (W-HUDs), and panoramic head-up displays (P-HUDs). These technologies enable real-time driving data and advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) alerts to be seamlessly projected into the driver's line of sight and onto the road ahead.

FUTURUS views this partnership as strategically significant. Visteon, a global leader in automotive technology innovation, operates business, innovation, and manufacturing centers across 18 countries, with a network that spans the world's major auto markets.

By joining forces, the two companies will accelerate the commercialization of FUTURUS' technologies, products, and patents in international markets, marking a key step in bringing Chinese innovations to global automakers.

At the same time, the collaboration allows Visteon to expand its global portfolio of HUD and AR products, creating new business growth opportunities and delivering a genuine win-win outcome.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
