LCO: Raw Material Transmits Cost Pressure, Prices Generally Stable with Slight Rise

iconSep 18, 2025 17:22

This week, LCO market prices rose slightly, with mainstream transaction prices for 4.45V/4.48V products above 235,000 yuan/mt, while prices for 4.50V and above models exceeded 240,000 yuan/mt, mainly driven by the continuous rise in Co3O4 prices. In terms of supply, cathode plants currently have sufficient inventory, which can to some extent alleviate the transmission pressure from raw material price fluctuations in the short term. Demand side remained stable, with battery cell manufacturers maintaining high procurement demand for cathode materials. It is expected that as Co3O4 prices rise further, LCO prices will continue to show a generally stable with slight rise trend under cost support.
