Defu Technology Unveils 2025 Private Placement Plan for Luxembourg Copper Foil Acquisition

[SMM Copper Foil Market] Recently, Defu Technology (SZ301511) released its 2025 private placement plan: it intends to issue no more than 189 million shares to no more than 35 qualified investors, raising a total of no more than 1.93 billion yuan, mainly for acquiring 100% equity of Luxembourg Copper Foil, constructing an electronic chemicals project for copper foil additives, and supplementing working capital. Luxembourg Copper Foil is a global leader in high-end electronic circuit copper foil, independently mastering core technologies and mass production capabilities for HVLP and DTH.

Shanghai Copper Market to Stay Strong Amid Tight Supply and Rigid Demand

The Shanghai spot copper market is expected to remain relatively strong tomorrow. In Jiangsu, available spot cargo remains tight, making procurement difficult for some downstream buyers and supporting spot premiums. The inter-month Contango spread has widened, strengthening suppliers' willingness to hold positions for delivery and reducing lower-price selling.
