Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 17, Chery's new energy vehicle brand Fulwin officially released the X3L, a boxy-style SUV positioned for outdoor and intelligent driving scenarios, onto the market. The model comes in four variants with a price range of 109,900 yuan-149,900 yuan.

Built on an all-aluminum alloy cage body, the X3L achieves torsional stiffness of 31,812 N·m/deg while keeping the body-in-white weight at just 230 kg, improving stability and extending pure-electric range by 15%. Its chassis features cast-aluminum H-arm rear suspension, front and rear FSD variable damping shocks, boosting ride comfort and handling performance.

Power comes from Chery's Kunpeng Golden Range Extension CEM system with a peak generation output of 100 kW and thermal efficiency of 45.79%. The dual-motor AWD setup delivers 315 kW combined output and 505 N·m torque, enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.7 seconds. With an approach angle of 22°, departure angle of 30°, 225 mm ground clearance, and 625 mm wading depth, the X3L is designed for robust off-road performance.

Equipped with a Qualcomm 8155 chip and end-to-end AI large model, the Fulwin X3L features the Falcon 500 intelligent driving solution. The system supports over 300 parking scenarios and 20+ active safety functions without relying on HD maps.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
