Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 17, SAIC Motor's Roewe brand put the M7 DMH, a mid-to-large new energy sedan equipped with the latest DMH 6.0 hybrid system, onto the market. The model is available in three trim levels, each offering a CLTC-rated 160-km all-electric range and a combined range of 2,050 km. Prices range from 97,800 yuan to 114,800 yuan, with a limited-time offer until Oct. 31 lowering entry prices to 85,800 yuan–102,800 yuan.
Positioned as a versatile family car, the M7 DMH debuts ByteDance's Doubao large language model with deep thinking mode, designed to redefine in-car interaction. The system improves semantic understanding accuracy 14-fold compared with conventional models, supporting complex commands, inverted sentences, and multi-intent instructions across 15 key scenarios. It also incorporates long-context memory combining local, cloud, and AI model storage to deliver more personalized user experiences.
The AI system integrates with the car's control network, enabling multi-function responses through simple commands. For example, a request to "help put my child to sleep" can trigger a sequence of actions including adjusting temperature, closing windows, and playing a story. The automaker says the system boosts execution accuracy by 58%.
The M7 DMH also features comfort-oriented equipment such as panoramic reclining seats and an mCDC dynamic suspension system, aiming to blend extended range, advanced intelligence, and family-focused amenities in one package.
