The two parties will also deepen cooperation in areas such as financial services for low-altitude mobility, operational deployment, and industrial supply chain integration.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 16, AEROFUGIA entered into a strategic partnership in Chengdu city with Sichuan Chuanfa Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. ("Chuanfa Leasing"), which includes a purchase intention for 200 AE200 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and related components, according to a post on AEROFUGIA's WeChat account.

The two parties will also deepen cooperation in areas such as financial services for low-altitude mobility, operational deployment, and industrial supply chain integration.

As a central player in the agreement, Chuanfa Leasing brings strong financial expertise and resources to the table. The company, established under Sichuan Development Holding Co., Ltd. with guidance from provincial financial authorities, is a leading leasing provider in Southwest China and plays a key role in technology, green, and inclusive finance.

With extensive portfolios spanning transportation, energy, tourism, and aviation, Sichuan Development Holding is well positioned to help the AE200 fleet find versatile applications and accelerate multi-scenario adoption.

Looking ahead, AEROFUGIA and Chuanfa Leasing plan to build a long-term cooperation framework under the theme of "aviation finance + low-altitude manufacturing," focusing on technological breakthroughs, global competitiveness, and full value-chain services.

With stronger financial backing, the partners aim to advance R&D in critical eVTOL technologies, drive innovation in China's low-altitude manufacturing sector, and expand the international reach of domestically produced eVTOLs. They also plan to jointly develop a financial support framework covering the entire low-altitude economy — from supply chain and production to operations and aftersales services.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
