China Changan Automobile Group, Agricultural Bank of China forge strategic partnership

On September 16, the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) and China Changan Automobile Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement, according to a pots on ABC's WeChat account.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 16, the Agricultural Bank of China ("ABC") and China Changan Automobile Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement, according to a pots on ABC's WeChat account.

ABC President Mr. Wang Zhiheng congratulated China Changan Automobile Group on the establishment of its new group and commended its achievements in advancing China's strategy of building a strong automotive industry through reform and innovation.

He also outlined the bank's strategic positioning, operating performance, and comprehensive service capabilities. Mr. Wang emphasized that Changan represents a pillar of China's automotive sector, and that the launch of its new group carries major implications for the industry's push toward high-quality growth. He expressed hopes that the partnership would deepen multi-level collaboration between the financial and industrial sides, helping Changan become a world-class automaker with proprietary core technologies and global competitiveness.

China Changan Automobile Group Chairman Mr. Zhu Huarong welcomed the ABC delegation and thanked the bank for its long-term support.

Mr. Zhu noted that ABC, as a major state-owned commercial bank, has played a key role in financing rural revitalization and supporting the real economy. He stressed that the new partnership represents not only a powerful alliance between two major state-owned enterprises, but also a concrete step toward advancing the automotive industry's transformation toward premium, intelligent, and sustainable development.

He added that Changan is at a critical stage of innovation and global expansion, and looked forward to working with ABC to broaden and deepen cooperation, taking industry-finance integration to new heights.

At the signing ceremony, ABC's Chongqing branch also signed framework agreements with Changan's Avatr Technology, DEEPAL, and Changan NEVO.
